Staff name isolation

Teacher and staff names are stored only in private database fields (staffName). They are never included in:

• Public pages or share URLs
• Public JSON APIs
• Public CSV exports

Public views may show staff role only (e.g. Teacher, Librarian) or omit it. Moderators and admins (authenticated) can view staff names for verification.

Students

Do not submit student names. The system is not designed to store student identifiers.

What we collect

• Report content you submit (title, category, board/school, optional evidence)
• Optional alert subscription emails
• Moderator account credentials (hashed passwords)

Retention

Verified reports are retained to support longitudinal accountability analytics. Rejected or withdrawn reports may be deleted by moderators. Uploaded evidence files are stored on the application server under controlled paths and are not listed publicly. Alert subscriptions can be deactivated on request to the site operators.

Demo-seeded rows (when SEED_DEMO=true) are clearly labeled DEMO and should be removed before treating a deployment as production-authoritative.
